Hrudd the Barbarian

**warning nudity alert, this post is for adults aged 18 or above**

Another post, another Hasslefree miniature and this is another Kev White classic.  Kev as a sculpter is amazingly good at capturing anatomic detail and sculpts musculature excellently. I must admit, I don't normally go for this type of model as my female models are normally clothed if not decently at least to a degree.  In fact the only nude models I have are a unit of ancient Briton fanatics - exclusively male. Ah enough with the excuses I got this guy, why because I thought it was fun, so there!

Listed as "My Hero" in the fantasy humans section on the website, he has very little write up and no name given to him so he gets the handle of Hrudd (a combination of Thrudd and Hrun, my two fave barbarians after Conan and Cohen). 

More WIP for those of you interested in these things, I started Hrudd and his beau very simply as I didn't want bright colours for his breeches I went with a Vallejo "German Fieldgrey" a greenish grey colour that is both muted and homespun in its look.  He of course would have gold jewellry having robbed the nearest Temple and stealing away one of the Hand Maidens of the temple....

so there we have it, still thinking about rule sets for these Hasslefree minis, at the moment I just buy 'em cos I like 'em.  Although I think Jez's "Way of the Crow" all things to all men home brew set would probably suit, if he ever publishes them finished.... (hint, hint)
