clearing up the paint table

Hi all

**Edit**This post has been postponed so many times because of others jumping the queue, so I thought after this week where I have posted every single day I would just push it out there and start again next week.  Now to crack on with those essays.....

Before xmas and with the imminent arrival of new Bushido models I decided to paint up some minis that had been sitting on the paint table and in the background of some of my photos for some time.   It has taken me some time to post this as other posts have reared their heads.

So I grabbed a random selection of minis to paint, starting with some Ancient Britons for Hail Caesar - an on/off project that I've been painting for over the last couple of years, some BA Germans and a partisan from Wargames Foundry, some MiB type special agents for ATZ, and my daughter's Wood Elf Sorceress.

Sometimes it's necessary to just bang out some of the lead mountain and clear the way for the new arrivals...

hope you enjoy
dGG

    1. Thanks Martin, I've spent the morning reading the Pollock Review 2013 and his report on 32 major incidents within the UK and the other interoperability between various services within those incidents. I've started typing.....

  3. Good luck with the essays. I hate typing essays, but sometimes you have to.

    2. Thanks Clint, it seems my mind will find anything to do except essays until the deadline is looming. I do need to get on with these though as I have a two week operating theatre placement coming. Luckily most of my blog posts for the next three weeks have already been written!

    1. She does Roger, I've been trying to ignore the unit of wood elf cavalry that is dying for a splash of paint....

Procrastination is how mate, but tbh I've written the next 8 posts already as I was super productive in January and knew it would be leaner time wise in Feb because of the coursework. I just have to remember which order to put them out...

  8. Nice work dGG. Sometimes it feels good to just paint some random miniatures to escape the tedium of current projects.

  9. Wonderful collection of minis, Andy, and I'm sure we all know what it feels like to have that tabletop clear and ready for the next project; albeit I usually just sweep mine clear into a drawer and open another ;-)

  11. Ah, workbenches never become *clear*, do they? But it's a very good policy to finish off some long-term lurking models every once in a while :-) .

  12. Always good to get some stuff 'cleared; of the table, however that in itself leaves a vacuum whereby other 'stuff' is sucked in, once more necessitating the table to be cleared.
