A very quick post today. I was looking through the various websites for nice additions to my terrain boards, when I came across these ahem "lovely" pieces.
Yes, this is the corpses and body parts item, in resin by TT Combat. Perfect, I bought 2!!
With a touch of paint they become...
I think they add yet another layer to the boards, slowly but surely it's coming together.
hope you enjoy

Great additions Andy, as you say they add a whole other level of detail to the board
ReplyDeleteOnce the board is completed (months away yet) these should take it up a notch mate
DeleteThose are great additions to the demo game boards. Very atmospheric and really fit into the visuals seen in Zombie film and tv programs.
ReplyDeleteI agree Roy, they kick the atmosphere up a notch. My only gripe is that there are only a few poses and we could really do with some kneeling zombies "chowing down" on the meat feast. Sculptors out there (Dave Stone.... :-P) take note
DeleteNoted for you Andy ! If you've got reference pics or ideas send them over mate
DeleteHaha nice one dude, email sent!
DeleteCorpses littering a zombie apocalypse board are a must have. These are great figures and very good value for money. Well worth investing in.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes and yes Bryan - totally agree!
Delete"Dead good" Andy! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe board's looking great - those high walls create a really claustrophobic atmosphere.
Hehehe
DeleteCheers Greg, the walls was for my dungeon tiles but works well here too ;-)
Marvellous find and nicely painted too. Your undead boards continue to increasingly inspire, Andy :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon I'm hoping the next few months will be awash with undead goodness leading up to Zombtober!
DeleteThose are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty cool Mike
DeleteVery "nice" indeed
ReplyDeleteNow I'd seen these and wondered what they would look like painted up and my word they certainly add something to the boards. Nicely done Andy.
ReplyDeleteYes "nice" is a bit of a stretch....
Deletehehe, suitably ghoulish and grim *grins*
ReplyDeleteVery ghoulish Hils, adds a macabre air
Delete... which is, of course, what it`s all about ^^
DeleteThose are great chum! (sorry, I'll fetch my coat!)
ReplyDeleteCheers Roger.
Hehehe nice one Roger, as always "Dead" funny. You're never grave......ahem.....
DeleteWhat a cool idea. They look great dude!
ReplyDeleteI like them, thanks dude
DeleteA must buy
ReplyDeleteDefinitely ;-)
DeleteOh my goodness those are awesome. Gotta get me some for my zombie games!! Awesome find.
ReplyDeleteThere are awesome, I got mine from Wayland Games
Deletewe should see more corpses littering the streets and buildings in our zombie games. But you know, most unusually it is something you rarely, if ever, see depicted on a game table or even in blog AAR`s. These ones of yours are most decidedly macabre and deliciously horrific.
ReplyDeleteI agree mate, meticulously swept streets and no bodies - hmmmm
DeleteI was aware of these, but couldn't think of a use for them. Ideal for zombie gaming, not so much for other genres. Certainly makes your boards look more 'realistic', if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteYup not so much for other games Jez but just right for this one and not too shocking a price either
DeleteAll 'casualty' figures look good and I can see how they're almost a ;must have' for a demo game too.
ReplyDeleteyes mate, they will definitely enhance a demo board
DeleteI was looking at these online a little while back and wasn't blown away initially, but seeing them painted up and on your board I think I am sold on them afterall. Really cool mate.
ReplyDeleteI think they look really good, but yeah you're right Dai the plain white resin is a bit dull.
