taking out the trash!

Hi all

When I was at Broadside the other week, I came across a stall with some really interesting resin pieces.  The trader - Debris of War, deals mainly online and obviously some trade shows, presumably in the south as he is based about 3 miles from my house!!


Anyway, you will be seeing some of his marvelous resin bases soon enough when I unleash my new Bushido faction on you all, but for now I painted up some of the modern pieces that I bought to decorate my Zompoc games including the next chapter of Gobbo's English ATZ adventure (coming soon).

Really simple to paint but full of character I took the urban debris set which comes with 5x wheelie bins, a sofa and 2x armchairs and loads of bin liners filled with rubbish!

we all have know one of those families who has the sofa outside the house and a garden full of rubbish!

      They sure are Dave, the guy is really nice too so I've out in another order. Can't praise the products highly enough! Like another terrain builder that I know.... ;-)

    These are the kind of street clutter that really brings a game board to life. What a great find, Andy. They're certainly going on my shopping list.

      And to find him on my doorstep too Bryan was a real bonus. In fact he literally was on my doorstep when he hand delivered some extra resin bases that I ordered to save me postage! What a guy

      I think so Simon, my boards while not bare missed that nuance that gave it something else - street scatter terrain definitely adds a layer of nuance

    A trader I've not encountered before but his site is wellworth a visit.
    I do like the street clutter, it always adds to any modern game.

      cheers Rod, thankfully they're really easy to paint. For a change I varnished them to give them a glossy plastic look

    I have contemplated getting this exact same set in the past. But decided that I did not play enough 28mm modern games to make it worth my while. That said I can and do change my mind a lot.

    I see that you are also being spammed by "NaRong". Looks like the spammers are now copying earlier comments rather than just using generic "I like your article" text. I had to report and delete a whole bunch of this crap from him/her/it yesterday.
