I've been busy making all sorts of furniture for my daughter's summer D&D campaign. As has been the case for the majority of this project I've recorded and uploaded these efforts onto Youtube. So if you want to see how I got from here.....

  1. Nicely done. A summer D+D campaign sounds wonderful. I hope that it goes well for her.

  2. Looking good. All depends what the scenario is of course. Not a huge reason to have books unless there is a wizard involved. Orcs would use them mostly to keep warm by burning them. But as I wais looking good so far.

    1. I think it just adds a nice layer to the game other than the bare walls of the dungeon. I plan on making loads more furniture

  4. Simply superb Andy. The book case is utterly inspired and is easily my favourite. Well, book cases (plural) I should say.

I like to have libraries in my D&D games, great meeting places I find, cool (mile stone) quest goals as well... as the players go looking for ancient information gleaned from the pages of crusty old books, maybe the elusive information they need to find clues to slay that wayward dragon. Of course, those old tomes you find in the dungeon, there in no eBay or Amazon, so the players need to rich book collectors to sell their wares to in person. Oh to a seasoned DM, a book case is a mighty tool indeed, hehe.

    Excellent post mate.

    1. thanks Steve, I agree totally. It adds a little "roleplay" to an RPG (bit of a clue) rather than just a you go into a room it has orcs in, you kill the orcs, you leave the room, you go into a room it has goblins in it......

  5. This is better than most professionally made and sold game terrain, and actually, puts many professionals to shame. I can`t believe your terrain making skills lately Andy, as you keep going from good to better to excellent to superlative.

I doubt my own modelling skills will produce anything near as good, but hopefully they'll be passable.
